Q. I saw your website and I want to reserve, what is the process?
A. Reserving the condo is a simple 3 step process.

1. Fill out the reservation form or send us an email to info@condojaco.com
2. A Paypal Invoice will be sent to your email address.
3. Securely pay the invoice with a bank transfer, existing Paypal account or a credit card. After payment is confirmed, you will receive directions, personal access code and instructions on how to enter the condo.

 


Q. I noticed the "Google Voice" Icon on your main page, how does it work?
A. To call me for an immediate response, simply click on the icon, type in your phone number, and the google server will call your number and then it will connect to my phone at no charge. You can keep your number private by simply checking off the private box.

 

Q. Where do we pick up the keys to the condo?
A. No keys are needed to enter the condo. The special lock requires a passcode that will be issued to you and will function only during your stay, after that it will expire. No need to share keys with other members of your party, access code can be used by everyone in your group.

Q. What is your address or location?
A. Costa Rica does not have an address system that we, in North America are accustomed to, the landmark system is used here. Therefore the location of the condo is: Condominios Tropical, 50 meters north of KFC/Quizmos on Avenida Pastor Diaz (Main Rd in Jaco).

Q. Can you arrange for airport pick up and transport service to the condo?
A. Absolutely, for a nominal fee, we can arrange for a taxi to meet you at the airport. Our connections are english speaking drivers that provide safe, reliable transport in an air-conditioned vehicle.

Q. Can I smoke in the condo? Can I bring my pets?
A. In consideration of future guests, please no smoking inside the condo. No pets allowed.

Q. Is there a phone line or internet in the condo?
A. Yes, the condo has a phone (local calls only) and high speed wifi. To make international calls, simply to go the many local internet cafes that offer cheap international calls.

Q. Is parking available at the condo?
A. Yes, there is parking available directly in front of the condo.

Q. Do I have access to the pools and jacuzzis?
A. Yes, rental of the condo includes full use of the amenities at the condo complex, including common areas, pools and jacuzzis. We only ask that you follow the rules outlined in the "welcome" binder.

Q. What is the minimum and maximum days I can rent the condo?
A. Minimum is two days and there is no maximum, but please check the calendar for availability. The condo is available for long term stays only in the low season. (Sept. - Nov)

Q. Why is the condo more expensive on Christmas/New Year's holiday and on Easter week?
A. Easter and the Christmas Holiday are the busiest holidays of the year, with both Costa Ricans and foreign tourists looking for accommodations. Due to the extreme high demand for accomodations near the beaches, the minimum stay is one week.

Q. My travel plans are flexible, do you offer last minute specials?
A. Absolutely! If your plans are flexible, you are in luck, simply contact us and we'd be glad to fill those last minute dates with reduced rates.

Q. What time is check in / check out?
A. Check in time is anytime after 12 PM. Check-out is at 11 AM unless prior arrangements have been made.

Q. Am I going to receive my deposit via Paypal?
A. Yes, at checkout we will conduct an inventory check, in case of missing or broken items, deductions will be made at owner's discretion. You should receive your deposit in a couple of days.

Q. I don't have a PayPal account, can I mail you a check?
A. Absolutely, personal check can be mailed to my address in the US, just give us a few days extra for the check to clear and reserve your dates. A check will also be issued for your refund of the deposit. If you reside in Costa Rica, a deposit can be made in my BCR account. Please email me for instructions.

Q. What is your cancellation policy? Early departures?
A. Cancellations of two weeks or more in advance 100% refund. Less than two weeks in advance 50% partial refund. Due to us possibly not being able to fill the vacancy on short notice. No refund for early departures.
